T5 HO & Compact Fluorescent Lamps

High Output T5’s are better to use in your aquarium than the regular T8 as they have increased water penetration and are more efficient. You don’t lose the illumination at the bottom of the deeper tanks.

With this lighting you are not restricted as much to the content of your aquarium, stock levels can be increased without the worry of inadequate levels of light.

The greater intensity, deeper penetration and Higher output allows you to stock your tank with a wide range of soft corals and allow them to flourish which was not possible with T8 Fluorescents.

With a slight tint of pink, the natural colours of your fish will be enhanced along with a perfect amount of green in the spectrum to enhance the natural colours in your freshwater tank. This is the Ideal basic light to use alongside our BLUE MARINE actinic T5s, to increase the blue light content for perfect coral growth.	Benefits: replicates the light intensity found at shallow depths. The light wavelengths are within the ideal range for photosynthesis and coral growth. Our bulbs sparkling white daylight rays and bright, high-intensity output enhances your corals colours, making the reds, blues and greens more vibrant. These are ideal to use alongside our BLUE MARINE actinic T5s, to increase the blue light content for perfect coral growth.	Benefits: Our Blue Marine Actinic has specially selected phosphors producing actinic wavelength within the bluer area of the spectrum. This allows for more efficient lighting which is better for coral growth. In Marine tanks, the red part of the spectrum is wasted as the salt in the water absorbs this. Your tank may not appear as bright but the light it gives out has wavelengths specific to ideal growth conditions.
