What is PAR?
Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) PAR is the section of the spectral range of light between 400 – 700 nanometres which is needed by plants, corals, clams, anemones and nudibranchs for photosynthesis. This is found from actinic UVA to near-infrared. (Graph 1)
