They are capable of holding up to 1kg of iQuatics filter Media.
Our Nets are designed specifically to allow the ease of water movement to flow through the filter media without restriction.
The iQuatics Filter Media Nets are manufactured to a high standard to suit all types of filter media. (NOT powder form)
These nets are made specially for iQuatics Ceramic rings and Premium Activated Carbon. The hole sizes are designed to allow the ease of water movement to flow through the filter media without restriction.
They are:
Strong, Durable, Reusable.Comes fitted with a easy fastening zip for replacement of the filter media. They are flexible to fit into all external filter designs.
Dimensions: 230mm / 9” (H) x 160mm / 6″ (W)
The use of a net makes it easier to wash the filter media before use.

What can I say?
Basically what can I say apart from it being a bag made out of netting with a zip on it that holds media!
Apart from it’s a quality item from a quality company, it’s well made and is a better product than the others I have used that were roughly the same price or dearer.
I will be using iQuatics in the future as they are second to none for both their products and most of all their customer services!

Nice net bags realy handy for keeping media tidy in your filter, makes cleaning easy to if you want to clean your filter pads easy to remove media if its in one or two bags just take it out and clean the filter pads easy
pluss if you ever have a power cut in your area you can easly take your filter media out and put into the aquarium if you have a
over head filter like mine, buy a battery powered air pump and put it under the media in the aquarium to save the bacteria.

This bag is very well constructed, however I purchased to use Red Sea carbon in it, which I found the holes are to big to contain. I have therefore decided the answer is to order the iquatics carbon which looks as good as the Red Sea one only a better price.

Using mine in a saltwater filtration system and a freshwater tank to hold activated carbon. I had ordered nets from a Chinese supplier and the Iquatics nets are a much better quality. Also arriving far quicker.

OK so its only a media bag…..but it is a good size mesh, strongly made, with a zipper allowing it to be reused. Easily holds 500g or more mediacarbon and a great price. I will be including this company in my searches for aquarium stuff in future. Thanks.
