– In general, pack only one animal in each bag; an exception to this would be mated pairs of fish which should occupy the same bag to preserve the pair bond.
– 36 hours before the move, cease feeding the livestock to prevent fouling of the bag water.
– A teaspoon of zeolite granules placed in the bag will help to absorb any ammonia from the travelling water.
– Improve water quality by performing several water changes in the days proceeding the move.
