How can a steady specific gravity be maintained?

Date Published - 20th August 2012 - Published by - iQuatics Ltd

This is generally achieved by using an accurate water level sensor; as the water level drops, a switch triggers a pump in a freshwater reservoir and replaces only the amount lost. In this way, specific gravity remains stable and illness-inducing stress on the osmoregulatory systems of the livestock is reduced to an absolute minimum.
