In September this year Shawn, who many of you will have spoken too on the telephone or our social media sites will be attempting the National Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

Shawn and his team will be climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafel Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) all within 24 hours.
Almost 2 years ago Shawn was involved in an incident whilst fishing where a 16 year old boy, David Moss, collapsed. Despite Shawn’s and the other fisherman’s efforts to revive him that day he sadly passed away, his cause of death was Sudden Cardiac Arrest something that affects at least 12 young people every week in the UK.
Shawn has since become a friend of David’s family who now raise money for CRY to help bring screening programs in to schools to pick up these conditions before they cause the same devastation to other families.
